Hi, in other posts it was already answered that if ALL groupcustomers doesn’t get SEATED or received order then it is a failed attempt. but what is if a group has a size of 4 and 2 can’t find a suitable recipe and leave and the other 2 don’t receive theyre orders is that also a failed attempt or only if everyone leaves in one step?
Yes, that’s a failed attempt too. The group doesn’t have to leave in one step. The spec says:
After two consecutive failed attempts, which are either failed reservations, failures to be seated by the waitstaff or the whole group leaving the restaurant because no one was served food, they do not visit a restaurant again.
What matters is that the whole group has left without anyone being served food. In your example, 2 customers leave because they can’t find a dish, and the other 2 leave later because they were never served. Nobody got food, so the visit is a failed attempt. If even one customer of the group was served, the visit is not a failed attempt.
