Confusion on assigning the restaurant to the customer groups in the Browsing service

Hello,
I want to clarify which of the following is right as the description is not a bit clear here
Case 1 : In the evening part that is before the tick begins, The event groups and the casual group will check the visiting evening and all and we will assign them the restaurant and now when the tick simulation starts in the assigned restaurants you will check the groups that are assigned will check if we have available tables and available ingredients and either consider them or not .

Case 2 : We check the browsing service twice once in the evening and assign the event group with the restaurant who will arrive currentevening -3 and in each tick yo will call the browsing service once more and you will call the browsing service check the casual customer whose visiting tick = current tick make them deciding the restaurant , on the basis of available seats, available ingredients in that tick then assign the restaurant. and now in the restaurant you will deal with all the customers who got added by the browsing restaurant . (advantage of this part you can check for casual customers without delivery if the current tick = visiting tick and for casual with delivery current tick = visiting tick - distance / 5 -3 formulae …

The only question is : case 1 : Is the browsing service a evening behaviour or case2 : A evening and a tick behaviour or maybe a case 3 where it is just a tick behaviour.

A detailed explanation will be quite appreciated as we are confused about this and want to clarify the description well .

Hi,

It is a tick behaviour (Case 3). Restaurant decisions happen at the start of each tick (page 32, lines 1-9). There is no separate browsing step before tick 1.

  • EVENT groups browse in tick 1, three evenings before eventEvening (page 20, lines 18-22).

  • CASUAL dine-in groups browse at visitingTick (page 20, lines 27–34).

  • Delivery groups browse at visitingTick - ceil(distance / 5) - 3 (page 20, lines 34–36 and page 24, lines 24–25).

Browsing considers seat availability and whether the restaurant’s recipes satisfy the customers’ dietary restrictions, but not current pantry contents (pages 23–24, lines 20–15). After restaurant decision made, pantry and cook availability are checked during ordering at the restaurant, including for deliveries, as stated in clarification #12.
