Cook for aborted meal behavior

Hello,

consider the case that a customerGroup which has only 1 customer leaves in tick T before being served and the meal associated to this customerGroup was being cooked. Does the cook associated to the cooking of the meal (assuming there isnt a batch case; the cook was only responsible for this particular meal) get freed up in tick T itself and can be assigned to another job in tick T+1? Or does the cooking process get abandoned in tick T+1 and the cook is available only from tick T+2?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The cook is not freed when the customer leaves. The order continues normally, and if it later reaches the group, it is rejected and logged.

Also, read this specification adjustment.

hello

Thanks for the reply. This implies the kitchen will cook all meals irrespective of the customer staying or leaving, and the meal gets rejected at time of serving, correct?

Thanks in advance!
