Assume that for a customerGroup of size 10, they arrived, were seating and placed their order in tick 1. The first meal was already ready in tick 1. By tick 3, only 4 meals were ready and were hence, served.
At this point, the waiting time for unserved customers was
5 - (2 ticks until partial order was served) + (2 ticks after partial order was served).
If in tick 4, only 1 more person is served their meal, does the waiting time for the remaining 5 unserved people go up by 2 ticks again? Or is the 2 ticks increase a 1-time situation only?
The 2 tick waiting increasement is a 1-time situation only.
If at least one person on the table has received their meal, they wait for 2 more ticks. Then, if a customer on that table still doesn’t have their meal, this customer leaves immediately.
I think this question also was already answered somewhere, but wasn’t able to find it, so maybe I would wait for a final clarification through a tutor, but I’m pretty sure that it’s only a 1-time situation.
Hello, just to clarify, when the partial order serve happens, do we add 2 more waiting ticks, or do we say that since this moment they are waiting for exactly 2 ticks?
