Delivery orders – same availability check as orders in the restaurant?

Hi, a question about how delivery groups order.

In the restaurant, the waiter checks which dishes can still be ordered (ingredients in the pantry and an eligible cook) and tells/informs every customer before they choose (p.16). Customers order one by one, and the pantry is updated after each customer (p.33).

Delivery groups don’t talk to a waiter; they contact the delivery service (p.24). p.33 says the ordering step “is performed for both restaurant visits and deliveries”, and a specification adjustment post says delivery ordering is performed analogously to visiting customers.

We’d like to confirm what “analogously” includes: Do delivery customers only choose among dishes that are currently available in the restaurant (ingredients in the pantry, eligible cook), with availability rechecked after every customer and ingredients reserved immediately? Or do they choose from all dishes on the restaurant’s menu?

So the delivery service also reserves ingredients in the pantry?

Yeah, the delivery service gives the order to the restaurant and is proceeded there as a normal order afak

After each order has been placed the kitchen is informed and the pantry updated.
