Dish order logic

Hello,

page 14 line 23:

The customers directly talk to the waiter, who can check the availability of dishes in their system, so the waiter informs every customer in the group which dishes are no longer available to order. The waiter transfers the orders immediately to the kitchen.

2 questions:

  1. In case a dish is not available, does the customer select another dish? Or does the customer still proceed to order the dish and it gets rejected by the kitchen?

  2. What if a group can partially order the dish, i.e. say there are enough ingredients for 5 soups, but the group wants to order 6 soups. Is an order for 6 soups taken here? Or 5 soup orders are taken and the last customer needs to order something else?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

  1. Specification page 14, lines 22–25:

“every customer chooses their preferred options based on the available dishes. The customers directly talk to the waiter, who can check the availability of dishes…”

2. Partial orders are still possible.

and if there is no suitable for the remaining customer, this customer will leave.
