Drivers on the restaurant continuing after evening ends

In the spec it says:

“The end of the evening is almost identical to the end of the opening time, except here also deliveries are aborted. Deliveries on their way to a customer are aborted. In contrast, deliveries where the driver is on the way to the restaurant continue. Drivers immediately go home and return the next evening.“

  1. If started dishes are aborted and prepared dishes all dishes are eaten/thrown away at the exact closing time of the restaurant then how can drivers on the way to the restaurant even pick up the food?
  2. In case there is way that this somehow works then does a driver on his way to the restaurant still deliver the order or does he deliver next day?

They cannot. Once the restaurant’s opening time has ended, drivers can no longer pick up the food, as they need a waiter to do so.

Neither. The driver does not pick up the order at all.
