There can be multiple Waiters taking orders from one event Group. How should this be logged when taking orders

  1. Is there one log per waiter? Or

  2. Is there one log where every Waiter taking orders is included in a list? Or

  3. Do we don’t have any waiterID since the specification says: “The EVENT groups are greeted by the event manager personally and there exist no assigned waitstaff, as the manager decides ad-hoc which waiter has to perform an action”

Page 33, lines 17–18 states that an order is logged per group with the waiter (one or more), so we expect (as listed in specification adjustments):

[IMPORTANT] FOH Ordering (R $restaurant:id): Group $group:id placed order $order:id of $dish:NameToAmount with waitstaff $waitstaff:ids..

So it’s option 2:

Does this also mean that if an Event Group is not entirely seated that there is no log call for this?

If the EVENT group is not entirely seated, the attempt fails and the group leaves (page 16, lines 24-26).

Therefore, no FOH Seating or FOH Orderingsuccess log is emitted. The applicable FOH No Seating log is emitted, and the failed attempt is not counted in the seating status, as clarified in adjustment #7.

The waiter-ID list from adjustment #5 applies only to successful ordering.
