Hello,
as the topic of failed attempts for regulars is still not quite clear, I wanted to ask again.
In the specification (p. 20, l. 14 - 17) it states that
After two consecutive failed attempts, which are either failed reservations, failures to be seated by the waitstaff or the whole group leaving the restaurant because no one was served food, they do not visit a restaurant again.
From this post we know that the failed attempt condition can be fulfilled partially in multiple ticks. Meaning before anyone got served it would be considered failed and after one successful serving it would not be.
However this post still has open ambiguous cases that are not cleared up.
To simplify from how I understood the specification, this implies that as soon as at least one person was served food, that the group will not count this towards failed attempts. Otherwise it always will?
This holds even if the one person can not finish their meal and is thrown out of the restaurant due to the restaurant closing. This would be a negative rating, but not a failed attempt (because they got served) and they would visit again.
Is this correct?
Kind regards,
Daniel
