Hello, if I didn’t overlook anything, there are no further details in the specification on Scenario 1. The specification says:

“Initialization of the simulation, with (maxTicks = 0), until the program terminates.“

What is unclear is, whether the config files are empty or if they contain stuff like restaurants, ingredients, …

Should we just invent some configs so we can show our logic, can we assume the configs are empty, how should we handle that?

Yes, you should create some dummy configuration objects that cover the full project specification. The goal is to demonstrate the parsing and validation logic across all the required cases.
