When it comes to certain types like the restaurantTypes or the TableTypes, can we assume that the Strings that are provided under this property are written correctly or do we need to validate the Spelling too?
You must validate them. Enum values must match the specified strings exactly, including spelling and capitalization.
For example, tableType must be COMMON, BAR, or SEPARATED, and restaurantTypes may only contain the four listed types (page 21, Figure 6). Any other value makes the configuration invalid.
